President
J. Durell Tuberville, M.A., LPC, LMFT,CTS,  EMT

Durell currently serves as the Personnel Services Coordinator for Shreveport Fire Department and Chaplain for Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

He has served on the CISM team for 14 years, President of LCISM, Inc. and founded the Louisiana State Network of CISM Teams through the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and Bureau of EMS.

He holds a Master's Degree in Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, is Board Certified as a Trauma Specialist, Certified Trainer for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and Master's Level Nationally Certified Psychologist. Durell is also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist.

 

 

Mark A. Connella, B.S., EMT-P
Mark serves as a Captain, Paramedic and EMS Supervisor for Shreveport Fire and has over 25 years experience in the fire service/ground and flight paramedics. 

 Involved since 1988 with CISM and trained under Dr. Jeffery Mitchell, Mark has participated in over 300 CISM interventions throughout the United States. 

He has been involved in large scale incidents such as the Oklahoma City bombing and Hurricane Andrew. Mark also has experience in workplace violence incidents, mass casualty incidents, and homeland security issues. He has spoken and trained nationally for over 10 years.
